A whole lot has happened since the last post about a billion years ago. I will keep it short because it's late. Here goes... divorce, move, drama, love, job, drama, pee-boos! Divorced from Stacey, Moved to The Colony, Did I mention divorce?, Heather, Kick-ass job, Rusty, Tank and Foxxy! Got it? Good!

Today was my third day at the new job. So far so good :)

Last night while watching Idol, they showed a clip of Rachel (my little sister) and said they were saving the "best for last." A quick IM to mom lead me to a website for a newspaper in San Antonio that said they would be showing more of her tonight. I am putting this clip from her audition up for those of you who don't have Facebook and only read this site... the two or three of you who do, Enjoy :)

Valentines Day is comng up pretty soon. I am offering a little special on my Facebook Fanpage if you would like to check it out. Tomorrow starts my "day job." I'm pretty happy about it. It means a lot less sitting on my ass, hard work, more driving.... wait... I said I was happy about it, right? I am. It's been a whole year since I have worked for "The Man." Of course I will still be shooting most every weekend, so keep the calls coming!

I HAVEN'T BEEN KEEPING UP WITH MY BLOG! Well, I'm posting something now aren't I? I have been pretty busy. I haven't even uploaded anything to the gallery (which I love to do) so unless you follow me on Facebook, you have been missing out on some of my new stuff. The gallery is pretty up-to-date at the moment so be sure to drop by and have a look.

So what's new? I decided that smoking makes me smell bad, so I stopped. I haven't smoked now in about 9 weeks and have no urge to start again. Photography has kept me pretty busy through the holidays, but I always have trouble booking sessions during the week. If I can't book stuff during the week, I might as well get a "day job" right? DONE! I now have a day job and I start next week. This may encourage me to write more... we will see!

At left is my current favorite picture of all time. I'm not sure why I like it so much, but I do.

It's been a while... yet again. Since Halloween I have been pretty busy. Found a great new photo lab, designed a new logo, and taken some photos. As of today, I am pretty much booked solid through the end of the month. This is a good thing :-) Thanks everyone! I have a bunch of photos to fill the gap between October and now, but most of them are bridals that I can't show you till after the weddings.

The pic at left is from this weekend's super-quick, mini-session with Kim, Kenny, Chopper and Sadie. Chopper and Sadie were my best animal models to date :-)

Had a great time... glad it's over. Zack has had his costume for a while. Ian on the other hand, didn't decide what he wanted to be until a couple of days before. Ian doesn't like to follow others. He doesn't want to be a pirate, a vampire, a superhero, no... he wants to be Bobby Light (the alter ego of Rob Dyrdek). If you don't know who Bobby Light or Rob Dyrdek are, well... buy a TV or Google it :) We had to piece his costume together from his closet, our garage, Wal Mart, and Party City. The final result is at left.

Halloween night I took my camera and lights to University Lanes in Denton and set up on the only blank wall I could. This wall was none other than the famous "Wall in front of the men's bathroom" lol. Have a look at the photos by clicking the photo at left or here.

This past weekend I shot Sarah with a vintage Mercury. I have been wanting to do some retro stuff for a while. I had everything set up and at the last minute, the owner of the car backed out on me. A call to my friend Chris quickly replaced the car and we were ready to go again. Special thanks to Calvert Racing Engines / Calvert Automotive for the car and the location. Thanks Randy for all the great conversation. Thanks to Sarah for freezing her rear off on a cold overcast day. I have been photographing a lot of children lately. I love to photograph children. It's also nice to photograph a grown-up every now and then too, lol.
